PostSubject: The gripes of running your car low...   Sun Jun 20 2010, 19:08

So other than the daily rubbish of having difficulty dealing with speedbumps and other objects that more cars at standard height can deal with quite easily it now appears I have great difficulty in getting the car up some ramps to get underneath to change the oil.

Who else out there faces similar problems? Must be a few i'm guessing....

I scrape my subframe and jacking points on cambered roads, my splitter on everything, and it takes 2 jacks to raise my car, a widowmaker to lift it from the pinchweld, so i can get a trolley jack under the jacking point Razz

Ever thought about driving it on to bits of wood.

Makes it so much easier to get a jack under then

I hate it when you drive over a dead animal and drag it along the road - bits of dead badger stink when they cook on the exhaust !! lol
