Only washed the car 2 days ago an its already filthy! Sad

bring on the warm weather an rain to wash it all away. doesnt help having to park on a main road though.

depressing driving round in a filthy car, especially when ive got car cleaning ocd, but is there much point in cleaning it?

I washed mine in tesco Holyhead last night before that it was filthy and my windscreen has a bit of filth on it from driving into work this morning. If all goes well my plan is give the car a polish tomorrow while the sun is out to protect the paint from the evil salt.

blinkin heck, that hasnt seen a sponge in years lmao. btw u need to wipe ur plate as the rozzers will have a field day if they saw that.
tbh id never wash me car in a petrol station, garanteed to have swirls after using it. coz if u use a brush ur basically just rubbing the dirt around on the paint.

Haha thats reminds me of my vectra i had. Went months without cleaning it through the crap weather and it had a custom dirt job. Top half of the car was the original silver the bottom was just filthy!!!! lol

Polishing won't protect the paint. You'll need a sealant or wax for that.

Or ideally both.

Mine now has so much wax all it need is a rinse and some chem guys QD. Smile

he he, thats just after a week of driving! roads are rubbish for salt round here, i can wash it and after one trip out the cars completly brown, plus i think the red shows it off more

and its when my numberplate gets that dark i get the hint to wash it Laughing

agree with tom. roads here are caked in salt.
