He should know, he's seen mine. ive used the Ripspeed DVD Headunits for the last 5 years, all ive done is upgraded with each new model released. Now got the nice new matt black model that blends in with the dash. Never had any issues with them and they have a lot of inputs/outputs on the back. USB, Video out x2, Camera in, AV in, Audio in, Sub.
The early model had a slight issue in the polo as the unit would over heat if you had the heating fans on as the heatsink sat against windscreen heater duct.
Todays Posi: got 2 days off to finish the engine off, once ive removed the car from its snowdrift. this morning all that was visible was the warning triangle's on the Rear and roof so the post van/grans visitors can see it and not plough into it._________________ "If my calculations are correct, when this baby hits eighty-eight miles per hour... you're gonna see some serious shit" McLOVIN - RE: Polo Show 2011 - There was a ginger alert at the gate?? Man that place is well ahead of the times, next they'll be installing gas fittings into the shower heads in the gingers showers... |

| Are their DVD units any gd?
I always thought they were cheap for a reason! But if uv had 5 then they can't be that crap i spose!?
For £150 for a DVD unit i may just take a punt, keep the Little un happy at the shows!!! |

| Ye. despite the small screen the picture is really clear and easy to view and there are 2 vid outs for external displays. also the Wii works on it and i had a camera on my old one mounted on the back bumper.
early models had a bit of a weird mp3/cd/Sd playing screen bit fuzzy and the blue background was way too bright for night driving in the polo (headunit sits high in the dash on the polo), newer ones have a brightness control and the backgrounds are in black.
the newer one i have has a USB plug reads up to 8Gb but only the first 1500 songs or something like that.
Ive got the 732B at the moment as it was better than the 733B, only real diffrence was the .5" in the screen. _________________ "If my calculations are correct, when this baby hits eighty-eight miles per hour... you're gonna see some serious shit" McLOVIN - RE: Polo Show 2011 - There was a ginger alert at the gate??
