So after checkin it out (ok I looked my friends Mk4 and they looked roughly the same size) I decided to purchase some and give it a go.

VW OEM Sunglasses holder, which replaces the grab handle. £16 from a stealer.

Part number = 1CO 857 465 Y20 (grey) / 1CO 857 465 3PT (beige)

Or else I got mine from this guy on the bay VW CHINA

So since I'd a sad git heres a quick DIY thread...

Arrived in the post this morning

Trail fitted them, they did seem to be the same size, so far so good.

Got the tool box one pozi drive #1 and a flat head

Bye bye grab handle





Ah ha problems...the one from the grab handle being the smaller screw



I fitted the smaller ones and they fitted, then fitted the larger ones at they also fitted, panic over. And heres the finished product





Now I hafta get one for the missues side so she can keep her sunglasses there as well
Please excuse some of the blurry shot it was still pretty early!

Do you reckon this would also work on other vw model's with a grab handle?
