Well............... wasn't too sure when the MOT was running out on the jetta so I had a look the otherday and it ran out nearly 3 weeks ago! To be honest I think the banded steels are too wide for it too pass as it the wheel itself is wider than the car body. What are people's views and have you had any problems getting an MOT with wide wheels.

if you take it to somewhere where you kno the tester he might let it pass,id jst take em off for the mot dude, then slap em back on after what you gonna be riding in untill the MOT, the 200sx possibly ?

i always take mine to bodern, as long as u mention ur not sellin it or anythin he can be quite sound about silly little things

been riding the gixer on the weekend, gona have to get MOT for this weekend incase it needs something major before All types! MOT ran out on the nissan start last month too so no cars on the road at the mo! Anyone got a spare set of steels I could borrow for the MOT??

well............... passed today!! Had to raise the front 3" and the back 2.5" and also change the wheels. But now ready for all types!! happy days
